GEC TRANSISTOR SEVEN RADIO 1960s This model (catalogue no. BC502) was advertised as one of the new transistor portable sets 'styled for the sixties' from the GEC Radio Group. It was a lightweight, compact and powerful radio with instant push-button sound and 'full-room' volume. It was finished in tough and easily cleaned plastic. The GEC Archives hold a wide selection of radios, radiograms and loudspeakers dating from the 1920s to the 1980s.
